About the Role

Title: Creative Director, Art

WFH Flexible • Atlanta, GA • Creative

Description

We’re not your typical agency. We’re a crew of culture junkies, visual disruptors, and brand-builders who believe creative work should move people…not just check boxes. As a fiercely independent shop, we answer to the work, not the boardroom. Our POV? Culture leads. Always. And great design isn’t optional, it’s the entry fee.

The Role:
We’re looking for a Creative Director with serious art chops. Someone who came up through the ranks as an Art Director and Designer, who still geeks out over typography, layout, and what good taste means. But you’re not just a maker, you’re a builder. A sharp thinker. A hands-on leader who can guide teams, shape brands, and push bold ideas from scrappy concept to flawless execution.

You’re also a writer at heart. If you craft headlines that stop the scrolling, pitch platforms in one sentence, and write copy that actually earns attention, you’ll thrive here. We want someone who can think visually and verbally, and knows how to sell a big idea with just a few words.

You’ll be steering multi-disciplinary campaigns from insight to launch – mentoring talent, collaborating with strategy, and working hand-in-hand with production to make sure nothing gets lost in translation. From social-first activations and street-level storytelling to big brand platforms that punch above their weight, you’ll make it all sing.

You Are:

  • A visual storyteller with a deep background in art direction, design, and production
  • Comfortable concepting and writing when the idea calls for it…especially sharp, concise copy
  • A headline sniper who can distill a big thought into a tight line
  • Experienced across brand, digital, social, OOH, and experiential
  • A strategic thinker who gets the “why” before diving into the “what”
  • A mentor, collaborator, and culture-setter – someone who raises the bar for the team
  • Hungry for work that’s creatively brave, culturally sharp, and built to resonate
  • Calm under pressure, quick with a solution, and never precious when it’s time to pivot
  • Up on the latest in design tools, trends, and production tech (and always learning)

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the creative development of campaigns, from concept through delivery
  • Guide and mentor a team of art directors, designers, copywriters, and creative makers
  • Collaborate with copywriters, strategists, producers, and account leads to deliver cohesive, culturally-connected work
  • Oversee visual execution across all platforms, ensuring design excellence and consistency
  • Write or shape copy when needed; especially headlines, hooks, and platform ideas
  • Lead high-stakes pitches, presentations, and client meetings
  • Stay plugged into culture and bring fresh thinking to every brief
  • Own the process from deck to deliverables and push for craft at every stage

Requirements

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in a creative or design-focused agency
  • Portfolio that shows conceptually strong, design-forward, copy-smart, culture-savvy work, results driving work
  • Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and complex campaigns
  • Deep knowledge of design principles, art direction, and production workflows
  • A mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Ai intrigues the hell out of you, Figma is a big plus..and perhaps you actually like when the team(s) build decks in PowerPoint. It makes cross functional collaboration a breeze.
  • Experience with motion/film/3D is a plus, but taste and vision matter most

We Offer:

  • A hand in shaping the agency vision and creative culture
  • Creative freedom with clients who are ready to take risks
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and perks that respect your hustle
  • A team-first, ego-free environment that values real collaboration and bold ideas

Bring your eye. Bring your voice. Bring your whole damn self.
Want to lead work that earns attention, sparks conversation, and lives in culture? Let’s talk.
