Job Summary

As a Principal Engineer I you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing high-quality software solutions. You will leverage your expertise in Redux Node JS Flask Python Javascript CSS and Angular JS to drive innovation and efficiency in Product Lifecycle Management. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams during day shifts contributing to impactful projects that enhance our product offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of scalable software solutions using Redux Node JS and Flask Python to meet business objectives and user needs.
  • Oversee the integration of Javascript CSS and Angular JS to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces that enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of Product Lifecycle Management processes and tools.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards to maintain high-quality codebases.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs technical specifications and project plans.
  • Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
  • Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure software reliability and performance.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability through effective use of modern technologies and methodologies.
  • Drive innovation by researching and integrating emerging technologies into existing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all software development activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong expertise in Redux Node JS and Flask Python with a proven track record of successful project implementations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Javascript CSS and Angular JS for developing interactive and user-friendly applications.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management and its application in software development.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
  • Show strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Certifications Required

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until Month Day, Year.

The annual salary for this position is between $130K to 150K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
