Job Summary and Qualifications

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join HCA Healthcare with our Physician Services Team! The Training Developer is responsible for efficient and effective development, maintenance and delivery of content- specific curriculums within Physician Services. This individual will serve as a key partner with subject matter experts to ensure assessment, alignment of appropriate solutions, course content and delivery models meet the needs of targeted audiences. This team member consistently demonstrates solid organizational, management and facilitation skills, professional behaviors, and lends technical expertise to all aspects of curriculum design and delivery. This individual demonstrates a strong service commitment by striving to meet and exceed customer expectations while focusing on demonstrated impact.

This role is Work From Home and Instructional Design experience is required.

Job Summary 

 

  • 30% travel as needed for onsite training
  • Develop educational strategies for both competency-based and operational-based education initiatives.
  • Simultaneously manages multiple projects and assignments of various scales.
  • Develop, revise and maintain content-specific, competency-based, and operational-based education programs as assigned, in conjunction with experts from the field.
  • Deliver and support training initiatives for various groups, including leadership teams and end-users. Delivery methods may include instructor-led, train-the-trainer, virtual classroom, web-cast, or webbased methodologies.
  • Provide training support at implementations as requested.
  • Coordinate logistics associated with education events and departmental meetings.
  • Work as a partner with internal SMEs and training standards to maintain departmental standards and consistency of development for the organization.
  • Maintain training administration records.
  • Review course evaluations and determine appropriate action to incorporate feedback into curriculums.
  • Utilize available standardized courses and instructor evaluation processes.
  • Responsible for alignment with documentation and maintenance of development standards and processes.
  • Collaborate with other team members and lend support to development and delivery initiatives.
  • Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.

EDUCATION:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

  • At least 2-5 years training and development experience required
  • Experience developing and delivering for various training environments (classroom, virtual, eLearning)
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating workshops, training sessions, and seminars for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in developing training materials and resources, including lesson plans, participant guides, and assessments

 

 

 

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:

 

  • Training or development certifications preferred, not required
  • Clinical certifications relevant to service area preferred, not required
