**100% Remote**
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Test Engineer, who will be responsible for working cross functionally with Product Owners, Software Design, Software Developers, Quality Assurance, Regulatory.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $45 - $50 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Job Duties -
- Design, develop the mobile App based test automation for the Dexcom CGM product and systems.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to test the functionalities of the Dexcom CGM software, and system.
- Validate the configuration, functionality, and user interface of software and tools.
- Document software verification test protocols, and software risk analysis, for software used in commercial products.
- Record and track issues in the bug tracking system.
- Analyze failures and collaborate with development teams to ensure root cause is investigated.
- Participate in software requirements and design reviews.
- Review software requirements and design specifications.
- Modify test protocols based on requirements changes and execute regression validation accordingly.
- Create requirements traceability matrices which demonstrate test coverage of all features.
- Write test reports documenting detailed results of validation, and report test progress to management.
- Follow internal software development, cybersecurity, and validation procedures that comply with medical and security regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
Required –
- Automation Testing experience
- Mobile Testing experience
- Agile experience
- Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.
- Required Testing: Mobile Apps (Android, iOS, Apple Watch)
- Software Skills required: Automation (Java, Kotlin, and/or Swift)
Preferred –
- Medical Device Software Development Experience
- AI Experience
- Leadership Skills
- Disqualifiers/Dislikes on Resumes:
- Less than 3 years of software development or software test development experience
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
