What you´ll do

  • The Technical Service Representative is based remotely, responsible for managing and servicing surface treatment customers in Coil and General Industry.
  • Manages assigned customers as a first line of support with routine service reports, product deliveries, technical troubleshooting and customer service.
  • Provides input to Manager on customer needs, business trends, competitive situations in territory.
  • Executes pricing actions Coordinates with application engineering to conduct line trials / (re)solve customer requests and complaints.
  • Manages assigned customer accounts in CRM Tool.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with customers and distributors.

What makes you a good fit

  • BS/BA in Business, Chemistry, Engineering or related area or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. At a minimum an Associates degree is required.
  • 5 + years of relevant technical service or sales, strategic account responsibility, laboratory or manufacturing experience (preferably in metal finishing) and a progressive record of self-starting results.
  • Ability to travel regionally, up to 50%, depending on location of home-based office. Most of the travel will be in and around Mussel Shoals Alabama with occasional travel to Birmingham required.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Strong disciplined self-starter willing to continue learning while developing the pipeline in the territory and maintaining existing customers.

The salary for this role is $70,000.00 - $95,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
