The Technicl Designer, Nike Underwear provides support through basic technical proficiency and organization; this entails all aspects of our daily operations and functions.
Responsibilities:

Participate in Tech pack pass-off with Design for new seasonal styles and provide technical support for design to build necessary detail sketches in development stage

Understand design requirements, update and maintain tech pack as fit development progresses

Work with Hub team and Vendor partners throughout proto sampling and fitting, through Design Intent approval

Lead the risk assessment process with Sourcing, Raw Materials and QA to identify and mitigate risk to production

Organize & prepare the fitting session and interact with design and supply team with necessary technical feedback
-
Provide fit comments to include pattern corrections, illustration sketches and construction feedback, to progress style development in line with calendar deliverables

Follow up with the cross functional team on the risk mitigation action & testing reports

Maintain the block sample and fit sample library for allocated product categories.

Day to day emails and follow-up

Support Technical Design leads on team projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
-
Degree in Technical Design or equivalent work experience
-
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Technical Design role

Pattern Making and Garment construction and make detail knowledge preferred
-
Category-specific technical expertise – underwear, performance wear
-
Well organized, and strong time management; understanding of product development process and calendars
-
Strong verbal & written communication skills with the ability to take on initiatives
-
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast paced environment

Strong detail orientation, self-motivated team player with superior interpersonal skills

Excellent PC skills, including Excel, Word, Power Point, Illustrator

Pay Range:$80,150---$113,700
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
