Technical Architect (Contract – United States)

Pitch:
A leading technology-driven organization is looking for a Technical Architect to join their team on a contract basis. This role focuses on modernizing enterprise systems, guiding technical development, and shaping scalable data ecosystems using tools like Azure, .NET (C# / Entity Framework), and SQL Server. The position offers the opportunity to partner closely with stakeholders across technical and business teams to build solutions that align with long-term strategic goals.

Contract Duration: 6–12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in software or data architecture roles

  • Strong technical foundation across .NET 4.5+, C#, Entity Framework, and SQL Server

  • Proficiency with Azure and cloud-native development principles

  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and system integration

  • Understanding of relational and non-relational database design

  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable technical solutions

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, and front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or similar)

  • Knowledge of Oracle, NoSQL, or data pipeline architectures

  • Previous experience leading discovery sessions or supporting data strategy initiatives

  • Strong communication and client-facing skills

Tech Breakdown:

  • 60% Backend / Data Architecture (.NET, Azure, SQL Server)

  • 25% Application Integration & API Design

  • 15% Front-End or UI Involvement

Daily Responsibilities:

  • 70% Hands-on design and development

  • 20% Collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • 10% Documentation and architectural planning
