The opportunity
Join QBE's Group Head Office People team in a dynamic parental leave cover role that blends management of global talent practises with deep expertise in organisational psychology and assessment. You'll work across global teams to manage the enterprise-wide talent and succession activities, while also leading the design and delivery of robust assessment methodologies that shape leadership development and inform high-impact people decisions.
Your new role
-
Lead the design and management of assessment processes for leadership selection and development, grounded in organisational psychology and psychometric best practices, to ensure methodological rigour, relevance, and measurable impact.

Serve as the global subject matter expert on leadership assessment, including managing vendor relationships and procurement processes with global providers

Manage the global talent and succession planning cadence, ensuring alignment with key people priorities and enterprise-wide frameworks

Act as a subject matter expert and thought leader in talent management and assessment methodology

Deliver high-impact reporting for executive and board audiences

Ensure governance and compliance across global talent activities

Build strong relationships across the People function and senior stakeholders

Use data to measure impact and identify opportunities for improvement

Champion a high-performing global Talent Community of Practice
About you

Background in organisational psychology or experience in assessment methodology
-
Proven experience talent management or organisational development

Strong data and analytical skills

Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting skills

A strategic mindset with the ability to translate ideas into action

Excellent communication and storytelling skills across audiences
-
A passion for continuous improvement and future-focused thinking

Experience managing external partnerships
