JOB SUMMARY: Perform Software Quality Assurance (SQA) testing activities to ensure that MultiPlan business applications meet requirements and function correctly.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and acceptance criteria
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate functionality, performance and reliability
- Execute manual and automated tests with meticulous attention to detail, analyzing results and identifying areas of improvements
- Designing, implementing and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks
- Perform thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of existing features after changes are made, while minimizing the risk of regression issues
- Document defects and track them through resolution, working closely with development team
- Participate actively in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on quality-related issues to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, leveraging feedbacks and lessons learnt from previous projects
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements

JOB SCOPE:
The incumbent works under limited supervision and relies on judgment and experience to complete job responsibilities. Work is varied and fairly complex, with more complex issues referred to a higher level. The incumbent strives to continuously improve service delivery according to industry standard quality management guidelines and principles and analyzes products based on company guidelines.
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is 75k-100k. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, or 3 years of IT experience working with software
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with focus on manual and automated testing
- Proven expertise in testing methodologies, test planning and test case development
- Hands-on experience in automated testing tools such as Selenium, including creating and maintaining automated test scripts
- Strong understanding and experience in API testing, including testing RESTful and SOAP APIs using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI or similar
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and experience working in Agile team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as:
- o Junit/TestNG: For unit testing in Java
- o Cucumber/Gherkin: For behavior-driven development BDD testing
- o Jenkins: For continuous integration and continuous development (CI/CD) automation
- o JMeter: For performance testing
- o Robot Framework: For acceptance testing and acceptance test-driven development (ATDD)
- Knowledge of healthcare domain terminologies and experience in testing claims processing system is highly desirable
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, with ability to write and execute complex queries for data validation and verification purpose
- Experience working with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, including creating and updating user stories, tasks, and test cases, tracking defects, and documenting test plans and results
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are a plus
- Ability to operate in a dynamic change environment
