WHO YOU ARE
Prowess Consulting is looking for a passionate Social Media Video Content Creator to spotlight the vibrant culture, people, and innovation happening across a leading tech company's Bay Area campus. This role is ideal for a creative, resourceful storyteller who thrives behind the camera on their phone and in the editing suite, and who understands how to craft compelling short-form video content for social platforms. You'll be embedded in the heart of a dynamic tech community, capturing authentic moments and transforming them into engaging, brand-aligned content that resonates with both internal and external audiences.
To be considered for this role, candidates must be local to the Bay Area and can film on site at our client's location.
THE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre-Production & Strategy

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify stories that highlight innovation, culture, and people.

Co-create concepts, scripts, and shot lists tailored for social media.

Stay up to date on social trends and platform-specific best practices.

Production

Film on-site using mobile video equipment to capture interviews, b-roll, and event footage.

Direct and conduct interviews with employees and leaders to bring stories to life.

Ensure high-quality visuals and audio, with a focus on authenticity and accessibility.

Post-Production

Edit short-form videos (typically less than 3 minutes) using tools like Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro.

Add music, captions, motion graphics, and branding elements.

Deliver polished content optimized for social platforms and internal channels.

Delivery & Optimization

Ensure all content aligns with brand, accessibility, and inclusivity standards.

Collaborate with social media manager to schedule and publish content.

Analyze performance and iterate on content based on feedback and metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS

Required

Proven experience creating short-form video content for social media (portfolio or reel required) from cell phone footage.

Strong skills in filming, editing, and storytelling.

Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Final Cut Pro).

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects on tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Passion for technology, innovation, and inclusive storytelling.

Experience working in a tech environment.

Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, or design tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop).

ADDITIONAL DETALS</p>
- The pay offered for this position will be $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, DOE.
- This is a hybrid, part-time, temporary role, and you will need to be on site up to three days per week,
