About the role:
As a Temporary member of the Digital Communications Team, works with other associates in Marketing & Communications and throughout the firm to plan, develop and implement social media communications strategies to effectively convey Baird's brand and key messages internally and externally. This role will be in the office M-Th with WFH flexibility on Friday, once trained. This is a temporary associate role with an expected duration of 4-5 months.
The Impact You'll Make:

Lead Baird's social media strategy across platforms, aligning with business goals and brand development.

Manage content creation, publishing calendars, and performance metrics for firm-wide campaigns.

Serve as Community Manager, overseeing engagement, escalation, and platform relationships (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter).

Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Risk to ensure social media compliance and consistency.

Collaborate with Human Capital on digital recruiting strategies and social media education for associates.

Drive vendor and agency partnerships, integrated marketing efforts, and thought leadership initiatives.
What You'll Bring to Baird:
-
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business technology, or related field.

5+ years of experience managing business social media campaigns (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs, etc.).

Strong writing skills tailored for social media; creative, flexible, and proactive mindset.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends; comfortable in fast-paced environments.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office, and web technologies (Flash, CSS, HTML, JavaScript).

Knowledge of SEO, social media optimization, UI/UX, Google Analytics, and digital design best practices.
