The Role

Halcyon is seeking a Senior Website Developer to lead the evolution of our corporate website and the Ransomware Research Center. This role sits at the intersection of Webflow development, front-end engineering, and digital innovation, ideal for a builder who thrives on pushing the boundaries of what a corporate website can do. 

As the technical owner of Halcyon’s web ecosystem, you will manage and scale our Webflow environment while prototyping new app-like experiences using emerging features, such as Webflow Cloud, Webflow Optimize, and Webflow Localize. You will play a key role in shaping the next phase of our site, integrating live data streams, visualizing threat intelligence, and developing automations that power the world’s most advanced ransomware research hub.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Website Development and Architecture 

• Own and evolve Halcyon’s Webflow CMS, ensuring world-class speed, performance, and accessibility 
• Build responsive, dynamic pages and components using Webflow CMS, custom scripts, and integrations 
• Lead the adoption of Webflow Cloud, Webflow Optimize, and Webflow Localize to enhance interactivity and personalization 
• Partner with the design team to bring visually sophisticated, data-rich experiences to life 

Data Integration and Automation 

• Integrate external APIs and data feeds into dynamic site experiences that reflect live intelligence and research 
• Collaborate on in-house tools that pull from PostgreSQL databases and internal research data sets 
• Build and maintain automations using n8n and other workflow tools to connect data pipelines, analytics, and marketing systems 
• Partner with Marketing Operations to ensure smooth connections with GA4, GTM, Marketo, 6sense, and similar tools. 

Optimization and Continuous Improvement 

• Drive site optimization initiatives across performance, SEO, UX, and conversion 
• Monitor site analytics, diagnose technical issues, and implement continuous improvements 
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI-driven search, personalization, and automation to keep Halcyon’s digital presence on the leading edge 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6+ years of experience developing and managing high-traffic marketing or product websites 
• Expert-level proficiency in Webflow CMS, including complex CMS structures, dynamic collections, and component systems 
• Strong front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with comfort extending Webflow through scripting and light coding 
• Experience integrating APIs and connecting Webflow to data sources, such as PostgreSQL or JSON endpoints 
• Familiarity with Webflow Cloud, Optimize, and Localize a strong plus 
• Experience with n8n, GA4, GTM, and marketing automation platforms including Marketo, 6sense, and similar 
• Knowledge of accessibility, security, and performance optimization best practices 
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and collaboration skills across design, content, and technical teams 
• A passion for innovation and a desire to push Web experiences beyond traditional marketing sites

Base Salary Range: $145,000 - $175,000

In accordance with applicable state and federal laws, the range provided is Halcyon’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.

Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity in the Company.
