Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 15+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 13 years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Sr Systems Architect for Airborne Systems, youll work closely with our customers to solve their most challenging problems. This includes Architecting Solutions for Airborne Multi Function Processors, Display Systems, and Communications Systems. Role includes both pursuit and program execution.

What you bring to the table:

  • Experience architecting, designing, and developing embedded hardware/software based solutions
  • Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary team including hardware, software, FPGA and cyber-security experts

What sets you apart:

  • Creative thinker with demonstrated success crafting customer operational scenarios to develop architectural solutions
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and influence management skills, with notable record of securing buy-in on concepts and ideas
  • Experience defining Ethernet based solutions & knowledge of open systems standards like SOSA, VPX, OMS and Avionics interfaces.
  • MBSE Modeling experience and or a commitment to learn

Workplace Options:

This position is Hybrid Flex. It requires residence within commute distance of Bloomington MN due to the nature of the on site work.

While on-site, you will be a part of the Airborne Systems Engineering Team.
