This position can be based out of our Adelaide or Melbourne office with flexible work arrangements such at working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid work environment.

PURPOSE OF JOB:

Are you a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a passion for driving enterprise-level transformation? We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of our Payroll Uplift Project-a critical initiative to optimise our payroll systems.

As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end project leadership, ensuring the uplift of our payroll platform is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to manage project governance, risk, and stakeholder engagement.

Please note this will be a fixed term project until December 2026.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the Payroll Uplift Project.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with change management and governance frameworks.
  • Provide regular updates to executive sponsors and steering committees.

About You:

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale ERP or payroll system projects
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and enterprise systems (ideal but not essential)
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • High attention to detail
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain a baseline clearance
