Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain .NET applications to meet project requirements
  • Build and optimise RESTful APIs and integration services.
  • Work with SQL Server for database design, queries, and stored procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure system functionality.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot application-related problems.
  • Document development processes, coding standards, and project updates.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and objectives.
  • Work in an Agile environment, attending sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

The Successful Applicant

A successful .NET Developer should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with C# and .NET Framework/Core.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and relational database design.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular or React).
  • Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud services.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes desirable).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with software development best practices and methodologies.
