Who we are looking for:
The IBD will play a key role in CeraVe's global expansion, especially in the plan of acceleration of Europe and Emerging Markets. This role will focus on identifying growth opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving market entry and development strategies in key regions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in international business development, strong cultural awareness, and expertise in navigating diverse regulatory and economic landscapes. Also, strong analytic skills and exceptional organization skills.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in different roles in the business and marketing, ideally operational marketing experience that can understand the executional and operational challenges in the business. A talent with a global or regional experience and a deep understanding of emerging markets dynamics and needs will be preferred.
The ideal candidate will be driven, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, multi-cultural environment and interactions and possess skincare business knowledge and experience.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Market Analysis
- Support in-depth market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscapes. (Global- focus on EM)
- Support the Global Business Development in the design and execution of comprehensive market entry or acceleration strategies for emerging markets.
- Analyze competition, markets segments, channels and pricing context that impact the business expansion.
Business Development
- Support the Head of Global Business Development to develop the growth strategy by category, region and audience, in close collaboration with the digital, medical and marketing teams in the DMI and zones leads in the different regions
- Support the Global Business Development head in the global brand protection program, (counterfeit solution implementation)
- Support the Head of Business Development in the RGM strategy design and execution, in collaboration of the RGM division team. This includes crafting and maintaining a cohesive brand pricing strategy to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with global objectives. Collaborate with regional teams to adapt pricing strategies to local market dynamics while ensuring alignment with global goals.
- Set KPIs and metrics to measure the success of business development initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, detailing progress, and challenges.
Cross-Functional Leadership (DMI team)
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, legal, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless market entry and expansion.
- Oversee brand project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve strategic goals and meet the time
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, International Relations, or related field (Master's preferred).

- 5 years of experience in international business development, with experience in emerging markets
- Proven expertise in strategic planning, market analysis, and partnership development.
- Strong communication skills. Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse cultural and regulatory environments.
- Willingness to travel.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong results-oriented approach.
- High level of adaptability and cultural sensitivity.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
