About the Role

Senior Java Engineer

Location: Łódź, PL, 90-118 Warszawa, PL, 00-839 Poznań, WP, PL, 61-569

Working place:  Hybrid

What will you do?

As a Senior Java Developer you will be responsible for creating and implementing high-quality solutions for the largest investment banks in the world. On a daily basis you will work in Scrum, advise best solutions to client, take care of junior developers within the team and report directly to the Team Leader. 

Please note: this is a permanent employment contract position – we are not recruiting for a B2B contract.

Candidates must be based in Warsaw or Łódź or Poznań and need to be available to work 2 days from the office, to foster team collaboration.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of practical experience in Java 11+
  • Practical experience with Spring/SpringBoot
  • Practical experience with Maven, Git and Docker
  • Practical experience with SQL, RDBMS/NoSQL and JPA/Hibernate
  • Practical experience with integration techniques (REST, JMS/Kafka)
  • Knowledge of multi-threaded programming
  • Ability to write legible unit and integration tests
  • Ability to establish effective cooperation with clients
  • Fluent English in speech and writing (frequent communication with English-speaking clients)
  • Availability to work in a hybrid mode – twice a week from the office

Nice to have:

  • Experience with React
  • Practical experience with AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Practical experience with Kubernetes
  • Practical experience with CI/CD
  • Knowledge of JIRA
  • Knowledge of Test Driven Development methodology
  • Knowledge of Agile (Scrum or Kanban)
  • Work experience in distributed teams
