What you'll do

We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our People Technology & Operations team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in understanding and analyzing business needs, optimizing processes, and supporting the successful implementation of critical initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, People business leaders, and other key partners to ensure technology solutions align with business objectives, drive operational efficiency, and deliver a strong employee experience. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor junior members and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the HR technology stack.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of People Technology & Operations.

Responsibility

  • Collaborate with various teams to identify, design and deliver technology and process improvements that support business initiatives and deliver a seamless experience for candidates, employees and managers
  • Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities across the People Team technology stack
  • Partner with IT to design, scope and deploy scalable solutions that align with requirements and business goals
  • Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Lead meetings to gather feedback, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with objectives
  • Assist in defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Track progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of project initiatives
  • Develop test cases, conduct UAT, and resolve defects and document test results
  • Design and deliver user training and training documentation to support effective change management and provide post-implementation support
  • Partner with developers on integrations and troubleshooting
  • Mentor junior analysts
  • Stay updated on industry trends and find opportunities for innovation

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • 8+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced, global company environment
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with global Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, and Performance
  • Experience developing, leading and performing test scenarios for system implementations, upgrades and fixes
  • Experience documenting and analyzing business requirements
  • Experience with HR TA best practices, processes, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management practices

Preferred

  • Ability to collaborate with business partners, adjust priorities, and deliver optimal solutions
  • Ability to deliver enhancements and fixes on time
  • Expertise in managing timelines, follow-ups, and change management documentation delivery
  • Knowledge of Workday Recruiting, Payroll, Time Tracking and Absence
  • Experience working with Docusign, iCIMS, Visier, Jira, ServiceNow, and other business applications integrating to Workday
  • Experience in Workday business process configuration, security, and organization configuration

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $122,300.00 - $190,650.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
