Job Description:

Social Compliance & Human Rights Auditors perform on-site assessments of manufacturing sites, farms, processing plants and other places where people work. The role of the Auditor is to assess labor conditions against local law, international standards and/or brand/client supplier codes of conducts. The Auditor's evaluation of the work sites helps to inform responsible sourcing decisions and demonstrate supply chain due diligence for major brands and retailor. Auditors are expected to write comprehensive reports in English in an objective, accurate, detail and timely manner.   • Executes accurate, objective, and high-quality social compliance assessments by implementing all requirements indicated in the client specific procedures, auditor training, and audit scope.
  • Prepares in advance by downloading and reading audit documents related to upcoming audits.
  • Documents and reports the audit findings/observations and submit the completed audit reports in a timely manner.
  • Communicates audit results to facility management in a professional, objective, and clear manner.
  • Verifies the effectiveness of corrective actions taken as a result of audit.
  • Cooperates with and supports other auditors and staff.
  • Promptly address any clarification queries from the reviewing team.
  • Complete all assigned training activities and actively participate in training sessions.
  • Applies feedback from reviewers, training supervisors, quality managers and client facing teams to future work for continuous improvement.
  • Treats privileged information with discretion and ensure all audit related documents and results remain confidential and well-guarded.
  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
  • Performs other duties as directed.
  • University Degree (Equivalent to an Associates degree) preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to other regions or throughout the designated country (up to 75% annually).
  • APSCA or CSCA Certification preferred
  • Bi-Lingual proficiency in both English and another language preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Must have strong PC skills and be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Home-Based Position - Preferred territory within the Western United States, specifically the Mountaini and Pacific states with consideration in other regions with identified experience.

Candidate needs to be located close to airport due to high travel requirements. Will train up for the right candidates.

  • Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
