Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join an innovative organization in the mobile and web-based learning platform industry. The Senior Android Engineer role is ideal for an experienced developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem.

Responsibilities of the Senior Android Engineer:

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
• Build and optimize user interfaces leveraging XML-based layouts and Jetpack frameworks.
• Deploy applications to the Google Play Store, ensuring compliance with guidelines and best practices.
• Implement and maintain automated testing using JUnit.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable mobile solutions.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance and user experience.

Qualifications of the Senior Android Engineer:

• 6+ years of professional experience in native Android development using Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of the Android platform SDK and Jetpack frameworks.
• Proficiency in XML-based layout design and UI development.
• Hands-on experience deploying apps to the Google Play Store.
• Solid understanding of JUnit testing and Android best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Compensation for the Senior Android Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $150,000 - $170,000 depending on experience
