About the Role

Title: Second Nature Health Coaching Quality Lead

Location: London England GB

Type: Full-time

Workplace: Hybrid remote

Job Description:

If you’re an experienced HCPC-registered dietitian with a passion for excellence in health coaching and a drive to elevate health behaviour change, this is the role for you.

At Second Nature, we’re on a mission to eradicate type 2 diabetes and obesity by delivering world-class health coaching that transforms lives. As our Coaching Quality Lead, you’ll oversee the quality and consistency of our coaching delivery across all programmes - ensuring every member experience meets our high standards for compassion, evidence-based practice, and impact.

What you’ll do day to day:

  • Coach review and feedback: Regularly review the work of our team of health coaches (nutritionists and dietitians) using internal quality tools, member feedback, and behavioural data to assess coaching effectiveness.

  • Continuous development: Deliver clear, constructive, and supportive feedback to individual coaches to foster growth, strengthen skills, and maintain exceptional standards across all programmes.

  • Coaching insights & training: Analyse coaching quality data to identify key trends and themes. Feed these insights directly into our training and development initiatives to ensure continuous improvement across the department.

  • Quality leadership: Line-manage and mentor our Coaching Quality Specialist, supporting their growth and ensuring alignment in quality processes and standards.

  • Innovation & improvement: Lead the ongoing evolution of how we measure and enhance coaching quality - developing innovative tools, frameworks, and processes to support scalable excellence.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Health Coach Managers, Product, Engineering, NHS, and Partnerships teams to embed quality insights into how we design and deliver our programmes.

  • Stay connected to members: Maintain a small digital coaching caseload to stay grounded in our member experience and keep clinical and coaching skills fresh.

  •

What we’re looking for:

  • HCPC-registered dietitian with extensive experience in digital or behaviour-change coaching (NLP and CBT models)

  • Experience delivering or overseeing programmes involving weight-loss medications, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate member support

  • Proven ability to give impactful feedback and support others’ professional growth

  • Analytical thinker who can translate coaching data into meaningful insights

  • Excellent communication skills - able to balance empathy, clarity, and accountability

  • A creative problem solver who enjoys improving systems and processes to drive quality at scale

  • A resilient, proactive, and growth-oriented mindset - someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong at managing multiple priorities while maintaining high standards

  • Collaborative and independent, able to take ownership while building alignment across teams

  • A suitable level of tech competence and comfortable working in front of a laptop all day

  • Passionate about health, wellbeing, and making a measurable difference in people’s lives

  • Available to work 5 days per week (Monday to Friday), 40 hours per week

  •

We embrace a hybrid working model to offer flexibility and balance.

  • London-based team members: 1–2 days in the office each week

  • Remote team members: monthly visits to London

  •

This structure gives you the best of both worlds - meaningful in-person collaboration and the flexibility to do focused work remotely.

The company:

Obesity has become a global epidemic; in the UK, we spend £9 billion a year alone on diseases like type 2 diabetes (that’s 10% of the NHS budget). What’s shocking is most of this is preventable – through sustained lifestyle and habit change.

Enter Second Nature.

We’re here to help people take control of their health. By bringing together the latest behavioural science, psychology, technology, and the talents of our incredible team, our mission is to eradicate the global epidemic of chronic lifestyle diseases once and for all.

Our habit-change programme – delivered digitally through mobile and web apps – helps people to transform their lifestyle, lose weight, and ultimately reduce their risk for serious conditions such as type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

About us:

  • We've positively changed the lives of over 250,000 people

  • We're rated 'Excellent' by over 7k of our members on Trustpilot

  • We’re one of the few consumer health brands that are commissioned by the NHS and leading health insurer, Vitality Health

  • We're a leading B2C provider of GLP-1 medication-assisted weight loss programmes, and 1 of 5 NICE-approved providers to deliver these services within the NHS

  • Our team members stay with us for an average of 4.3 years
