We are hiring a Ruby on Rails Engineer
Hybrid working model - Belgrade or Novi Sad office
Role Description:
Interested in joining the team which transforms and makes the data ''intelligent'' to develop an agile decision-making tool for the management and companies?
We are working for our French client, which operates in the domain of financial data - world leader in B2B economic data.
Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the development of long-term projects that help companies improve their performance with the world's largest commercial database

Work on corporate compliance app that collects and processes vast amounts of data
-
Work on the implementation of new functionalities, preparation of UI/UX redesign, and performance optimization of the current application to facilitate the planned growth of the client base
-
Work collaboratively within a dedicated team to build RESTful APIs using Ruby 3.2 / Rails 7

Collaborate with our development team in Serbia, as well as the experienced client team from France

Follow the Scrum, Agile methodology
Your Profile:
-
You are a versatile engineer with 4+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge of Ruby/or in-depth knowledge of any other programming languages, with an interest in continuing your career as a Ruby Engineer

You have a good command of JavaScript/JQuery, HTML, CSS
-
You have knowledge of different databases, preferably PostgreSQL
-
You want to understand the business case for the projects you undertake fully
-
You can understand and break down complex problems
-
You adapt to established coding standards and team culture, while offering valuable suggestions and improvements
-
You have strong skills in understanding large-scale systems and maintaining and improving them with a focus on the business domain
-
You think continuous improvement is important

You are fluent in English
