Position Summary

The position: The Regional Human Resources Manager is someone who wants to learn the operations and serve as a true business partner. One who is solution-focused and over the top about internal customer service. One who constantly thinks about "how can we make this better" and "what if". This position is responsible for a large client group across several cities and may require some travel. Position reports to Director of HR.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as main point of contact for human resources for designated client groups
  • Assist employees and managers to positively resolve concerns
  • Provide employee coaching and counseling for issues and complaints
  • Coach managers on employee issues and guide them on the progressive discipline process
  • Provide guidance on Company policies and procedures
  • Partner with Benefits, Recruiting and Payroll teams on projects, solving problems and developing solutions
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Human Resources certification (SHRM or HRCI) a plus
  • 5-7 years human resources experience
  • Ultimate Software experience a plus
  • Tech-savvy; comfortable learning and utilizing new technology and platforms
  • Discretion in dealing with confidential information
  • In-depth knowledge of HRIS processes and capabilities
  • Ability to manages multiple, changing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management skills
  • Passionate about providing client-focused solutions and support
  • Proficiency using Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams highly preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

Work Environment:

  • This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week
  • The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions
