Position Responsibilities

The Quality Control Analyst supports the GovWin IQ State, Local, and Education Research Team. The Quality Control Analyst reviews, proofs, and edits research content published by the analyst team to evaluate compliance with quality standards such as structure, clarity, consistency, and style. Based on the monitoring, the Quality Control Analyst tracks and reports on performance and quality metrics of Analysts’ work. The Quality Control Analyst provides feedback and recommendations to ensure final content is aligned with business goals. The Quality Control Analyst also has a thorough understanding of the product and business operations in order to coordinate and execute new hire training to ensure seamless onboarding of new employees.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitors submitted work, carefully proofreading and editing before it is published
  • Corrects spelling, grammar, punctuation and amends text for clarity and consistency
  • Understands use of style guides to direct content creation   
  • Compiles data, analyzes, and reports on performance metrics, quality of work, and trends
  • Develops, coordinates, and implements quality improvement strategies
  • Provides performance feedback
  • Organizes and shares information using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and other internal collaboration tools
  • Participates in and leads meetings to review quality metrics
  • Plans and executes training for new employees
  • Develops new training content and updates current curriculum and materials as necessary
  • Contributes to product planning and enhancements, and recommends improvements
  • Any other tasks as needed / assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, education, business, or other related fields 
  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience; experience in quality assurance, proofreading, corporate training, or similar fields a plus
  • Must have superior communication abilities and organization skills
  • Critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
  • Must have good computer and online research skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Is goal-based, focused, and demonstrates a commitment to excellence
  • Is adaptive and flexible to changing situations
  • Has a passion for teaching others through operational instruction
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization
  • Is self-motivated, organized and capable of independently managing time & tasks to accomplish objectives
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to delegate
  • Knowledge of or an interest in the state, local, and education (SLED) government contracting marketplace is highly desirable

Compensation Information

The U.S. salary range for this position is $46500.00 - $81250.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
