Carnegie Learning is looking for a qualified Proposal Specialist who will support the end-to-end RFP strategy and process. In this role, you will be developing proposals, bids, quotations, RFP responses, and other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective clients.
You will work cross-functionally to develop and maintain up-to-date product boilerplate, and research, evaluate, and recommend improvements to RFP process tools. The Proposal Specialist will also author responses for business-critical writing projects that may include grant writing and other written projects as required.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

Lead and coordinate the end-to-end proposal development process, ensuring deadlines are met and all requirements are fulfilled.
Gather and synthesize information from internal stakeholders, assess risks, and manage proposal-related documentation and tracking tools.
Write, edit, and refine compelling proposals, including executive summaries and supporting materials that align with organizational goals and RFP specifications.
Manage the formatting and production of final proposal documents, including coordinating graphics, printing, and submission logistics.
Maintain high-quality standards across all proposal materials by using templates and adhering to consistency in tone, language, and branding.
Continuously improve proposal processes, templates, and content archives (including RFPio database), incorporating feedback and best practices.
Stay current with industry trends and compliance requirements; participate in professional development and cross-functional projects.
Perform additional tasks and special projects as needed in support of team and organizational priorities.
WHAT SHOULD BE IN YOUR BACKPACK
Bachelors degree in an associated discipline
Minimum of two years of work experience in the K-12 industry inproposal support, pipeline management, writing, editing, communications, or proposal development
Experience using AI proposal tools; experience with Responsive proposal software strongly preferred
Extremely detail-oriented and deadline-driven
Technical documentation and layout skills
Overall pipeline project management and skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent client service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and in publishing finalized version of responses
