Overview (Why This Role?)
The Project Manager will oversee and drive key strategic projects tied directly to our growth products (subscriptions, newsletters, personalization, etc). Reporting to the Head of the Project Management Office (PMO), you will manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and team activities, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
- Define and clearly document project objectives, scope, roles, responsibilities, and success criteria.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, tracking progress against timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and expenditures, proactively identifying risks and mitigating challenges.
- Regularly communicate project status through accurate, factual reporting, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Act with urgency and demonstrate a bias for action, driving projects forward decisively and effectively.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, enhancing project management methodologies within the PMO.
Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of proven experience managing complex projects, preferably within media, publishing, or digital growth initiatives.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to articulate clear, concise, and factual updates to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Proven experience tracking and reporting on budgets, team progress, project status, and timelines.
- Adept at navigating ambiguity and rapidly shifting priorities while maintaining focus on deliverables.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proactive, driven, and outcome-oriented with a proven bias for action.
- Ability to operate effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Collaborative team player with excellent stakeholder management skills.

The base salary for this role is between $66,000-$80,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
