What You’ll Do
The Foundation's Collaborative Impact Department, through the LAUNCH Apprenticeship Network, seeks a Program Standards Specialist to play a critical role in the department's success by applying deep project management skills experience to ensure high-quality design and delivery of specific registered apprenticeship and work-based learning programs. This position ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, working closely with the California Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS), the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), and internal and external stakeholders. The Specialist will establish and manage systems to track program elements, contribute to continuous improvement efforts, and help ensure that apprenticeship programs are high-quality and accessible.

Regulatory Oversight & Liaison:
· Serve as a liaison with the California Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) and the U.S. Department of Labor.
· Submit registered apprenticeship program standards to DAS and DOL in a timely and accurate manner.
· Collaborate with DAS consultants to ensure program standards meet all regulatory requirements.

Program Standards Development & Tracking:
· Maintain current knowledge of state and federal apprenticeship regulations, including Labor and Education Codes.
· Develop and manage a tracking system for all components of registered apprenticeship program standards packages, such as work processes and competencies; related and supplemental instruction; required DAS/DOL forms; LEA letters; wage schedules; and more.

Process Improvement & Quality Assurance:
· Collaborate with the LAUNCH team to identify and implement improvements to apprenticeship program access, efficiency, and quality.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining employer and apprentice participation in registered programs.

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences, from C-suite professionals to inexperienced youth.

Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range:
$62,000.00 - $72,000.00
Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
