Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Post-Doctoral Researcher, with supervision from the senior team, will mainly participate in research activities associated with a Post Secondary Student Success Grant and a STEM grant from the National Science Foundation, which includes STEM-related professional development research activities, preparation of related materials, and dissemination activities.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in the implementation of research activities related to the National Science Project, STILE 3.0 and PSSG Welcome grant with quantitative technology
- Work in collaboration with Center staff to prepare reports and conference papers that document the Center's activities
- Work in collaboration with the research team to collect, prepare and analyze quantitative research data within the team’s organizational structures.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including school and university employees
- Work with the research team to prepare and present findings and research at professional conferences drawing on engineering expertise to situate content within that domain.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Statistics or a related field
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in a research environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, Qualtrics, etc.)
Salary Range:
63,200-70,000
