Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Performance Test Engineer with at least 10+ years' experience with performance testing, developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. Roles/Responsibilities:
- Understanding non-functional requirements gathered from business team, define the end-to-end performance test strategy and create performance test plan for multiple projects. Identify the business-critical transactions and validate with business team.
- Working on performance testing of different EDI transaction like 834 (Enrollment), 837 (Claims Processing), 270/271 (Member status Enquiry/Response), 276/277 (Claim status Enquiry/response) and 835 (Claim remittance)
- Working on complete End-to-End EDI processing and coordinate with various trading partners to support the performance analysis of EDI operations ensuring data interchange system operated properly.
- Conduct performance test based on the performance model to capture the performance metrics. Performa analysis on end-to-end application components which include application hotspot analysis, database resource utilization, query tuning, network bottlenecks, memory optimization, connection pool issues, etc., to provide recommendations for improving the performance.
- Analyze the performance issues in Informatica batch jobs using session analyzer and provide tuning recommendation to meet the SLA. Perform database monitoring using OEM, AWR and data dictionary objects.
Required Qualifications:
- Performance testing and Engineering
- Informatica session log analysis to identify the time-consuming query
- DB expertise to identity the long running queries during the test execution window
- Load runner expertise to execute the multiuser load test and analyze the test results
- Expertise to provide recommendations for the Performance Issues identified
- Perform database monitoring using OEM, AWR and data dictionary objects.
- Application Monitoring tools expertise to identify the server resource bottlenecks during the test duration.
- Have good knowledge on the EDI transactions to performance test and analyze the results
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $ 81,337- $ 141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
