About the role
As a People Operations & Compensation Specialist at Dealfront, you will ensure accurate payroll processing, maintain competitive compensation practices, and manage employee benefits across multiple regions. Your responsibilities will include coordinating payroll, drafting contracts, supporting onboarding and offboarding, and maintaining accurate HRIS data. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to deliver seamless People & Culture operations while ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate payroll for employees in the Nordics, ensuring accuracy, compliance with local regulations, and effective coordination with our payroll processing vendor.
- Assist in payroll for Germany, Spain, and the US, taking a lead role when needed.
- Support the development and implementation of compensation programs, including bonus and commission plans.
- Calculate monthly commissions, prepare materials, and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Administer and improve employee benefit programs, ensuring smooth vendor coordination. Assisting in designing and maintaining the perk system, collaboration with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct salary benchmarking to maintain competitive compensation practices.
- Assist in coordinating and executing onboarding and offboarding procedures.
- Keep our company roster up to date in both the spreadsheet and HRIS, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Drafting contracts for various countries, including the Employer of Record arrangements.
- Generating promotion letters, salary change confirmations, bonus agreements and commission plans, and regularly updating templates in coordination with our in-house Legal team.
- Overseeing incoming requests via the People & Culture ticketing system and ensuring an answer in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Personio) and payroll software
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools like Asana, G-Drive, and Slack
- Fluent in English and German (Spanish would be a plus)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical skills (including advanced proficiency in spreadsheet formulas)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Preferred experience in international or multi-entity companies
