As the Payments QA and Compliance Specialist at the Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union (PSECU), you hold a pivotal role in ensuring consistency in service, procedures, policy and guidelines that comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements across critical products and services within the Payment Operations Department.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am -4:00pm.
This position will be a hybrid model both in person and remote with minimum of onsite expectation of 60% or as needed.
In this position, you will
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to NACHA Operating Rules, which govern the ACH (Automated Clearing House) network, as well as other relevant regulations like the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws.
- Risk Monitoring: Your leadership directly impacts PSECU's business as you monitor regulatory compliance and risk within your purview. Participate and provide documentation for risk assessments to identify compliance vulnerabilities in payment processes and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Policy Development: Assist in creating and updating compliance policies and procedures specifically related to regulatory requirements.
- Business Analysis: Evaluate PSECU business data and processes with industry standards and best practices for operational efficiencies throughout Payment & Operations. Provide input into business requirements for the design of solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Phone calls and data monitoring to ensure compliance with policies, regulations and member service.
- Training and Support: Provide training to staff on NACHA compliance requirements, best practices in payment processing, and the implications of non-compliance.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor transactions and processes for member service and adherence to rules and regulations.
