Job Description:

Summary: The Online Fundraising Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive digital fundraising strategy aimed at converting non-donors into active contributors. This role will manage the full lifecycle of online fundraising campaigns-from strategy to execution-leveraging platforms like Iterable and Salesforce, with a focus on personalization, segmentation, and results-driven performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 


  • Strategy Development: Design and execute a digital fundraising strategy focused on acquiring and converting non-donors through multi-channel outreach (email, SMS, landing pages, etc.)

  • Campaign Execution: Manage the day-to-day creation, deployment, and analysis of fundraising campaigns using Iterable and Salesforce tools.

  • Content Creation: Write persuasive, on-brand fundraising copy for emails, landing pages, SMS messages, and other digital assets.

  • Audience Segmentation: Build and refine segmented supporter journeys to deliver targeted, relevant messages that drive conversions.

  • Performance Optimization: Monitor performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion, ROI) and A/B test content and approaches for continual improvement.

  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Messaging, Graphic Design, Direct Mail and Analytics teams to ensure campaigns are timely, coordinated, and consistent across platforms.

  • Reporting: Generate reports and insights on campaign performance and donor acquisition trends to inform future strategies.

Qualifications:

 

 


  • 3-5 years of experience in online fundraising, digital marketing, or email campaign management (nonprofit sector preferred)

  • Proven track record of successful donor acquisition or digital revenue growth

  • Proficiency in Iterable (or similar engagement platforms) and experience with Salesforce CRM

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, especially in persuasive fundraising copy

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with campaign performance data

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Creative thinker and problem-solver with strong attention to detail

  • Familiarity with fundraising best practices and donor psychology

  • Knowledge of email deliverability, automation workflows, and A/B testing

  • Graphic design or HTML/CSS experience is a plus

  • Experience with advocacy or political fundraising is a bonus

AIPAC is offering a competitive market base salary between $80,000.00 and $93,000.00 for the position. A job offer within the range will depend on how closely a candidate's skills and experience match the role's requirements. AIPAC also offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that contributes to employees' overall total compensation package. We currently work remotely two days a week and in our offices the other three. AIPAC is an equal-opportunity employer.
