Job summary:
The Online Course Advisor will work as part of FI Ltd.'s Online Operations Team in a remote role with the opportunity to work in their local FI office once or twice per month.
The Online Course Advisor will work closely with colleagues in the Online Operations team to ensure that core operational processes are completed for the Online centre. The hired candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be a great communicator - verbally, on the phone and through online chat channels.
The role requires professional communication with tutors and skills coaches, whilst offering administrative support to new and existing customers.
Requirements
Student service: You will be the primary point of contact for our online ACCA and CIMA students. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Responding to enquiries from students and their employers relating to course administration and providing the appropriate advice and guidance.
- Maintaining student and client records with course booking data, taking payment/invoicing and dispatching material as required.
- Providing proactive support to students, including following up with students to advise on their next course or most suitable study method.
Client service: Working with senior management, you will help deliver high quality service to online clients. This may include, but not be limited to:
- Maintaining student and client records with course booking data, progress reporting and the implementation of changes to study pathways.
- Liaising with regional FI centres to coordinate administrative support for national clients.
- Supporting the client relationship team with data collection, invoicing, and implementing programme changes.
Business planning and growth support: Providing support to colleagues with activity to support business growth. This may include, but not be limited to:
- Producing reports on student and client information.
- Gathering and collating feedback from students and clients.
- Maintaining core marketing collateral such as course brochures and email templates.
Centre and course operations: You will provide operations support for the FI Online centre. This may include, but not be limited to:
- Creating courses in our CRM system (Administrate).
- Supporting with Online Live course enrolment and managing student access.
- Working closely with the Head of Online Operations to support daily business operations.
- Supporting additional work as reasonably required by management from time to time.
Qualifications and skills:
Essential:
- 1+ years' experience in customer service, working in an office environment.
- Good experience handling customer telephone calls.
- Effective written and verbal communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational, problem solving and time management skills.
- Adaptability to changing processes, procedures, and customer needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Desirable:
- Experience in the accountancy and finance training industry.
- Experience using a CRM system such as Administrate or Salesforce.
