The accesso Paradox team is looking for someone like you to work on its SaaS solution, MountainOS, which allows ski resorts across North America to manage their entire operations, from ticket sales to ski school management to equipment rental.  

Your main responsibility will be to guide and support your team in their daily tasks to ensure the delivery of sprint goals, while keeping the team motivated and engaged.  

The accesso Paradox all-in-one solution was specifically designed by ski people for ski resorts and enables our customers to provide an enhanced customer experience and centralized, accessible data so they can focus on what matters most, the skier! 

Location: Quebec, Canada. This role can be performed full-time in the office (in Quebec City), or in a hybrid version , with at least 3 days per week at our Quebec City office.  
Reports to  : Director, Software Development 

This role will lead you to: 

• Lead, motivate and support a high-performing team of developers and QA (between 5 and 8). 

• Support and optimize team performance while preserving team autonomy in an agile development context. 

• Oversee the smooth running and delivery of the team's projects 

• Identify and develop the skills and talents of your team. 

• Mentor and coach more junior developers. 
• Participate in technical discussions and guide the team to make informed decisions on architecture and design.  
• Complete any other projects delegated to you by the Development Director 

Profile sought: 

• At least 10 years of experience in the software development industry, including at least 4 years in management roles. 

• Experience in continuous agile development.  

• Experience in a SaaS environment, including production support during critical incidents. 

• Although the position does not require direct contribution to deliverables, it is expected that the ideal candidate will be able to read code, assess its quality and guide team members towards best practices and industry standards. 

• Experience with the following technologies is an asset: 

• Language : Java, Spring Boot, Typescript, HTML5 

• Framework : Angular, Material 

• Data : MongoDB, BigQuery 

• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Rancher, GCP, Elastic 

• Good level of French/English  

• Passionate about the mountains, skiing and/or the outdoors
