This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.00 an hour base pay increase effective on July 1, 2026.

JOB DUTIES:
As a Sidney and Wolf Point Job Service Office Manager you will:
- Provide impactful leadership in all aspects of personnel management.
- Supervise the administration of a variety of federal and state Job Service functions including monitoring fiscal and client outcome performance of workforce training programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with local, region and state team-members, businesses and community partners.
- Ensure that services are well aligned with area business workforce needs by developing and maintaining partnerships.
- Establish and maintain high quality standards of employment services and career guidance to workers and job seekers provided by your team.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
If you are the right person for this opportunity, you will have the following knowledge, skills or abilities:
- Principles of leadership, supervision, performance management, delegation and management techniques, budgetary and organizational methods.
- Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes assessing customer needs, meeting quality standards for service and evaluation of satisfaction of clients, businesses, and communities served as well as internal customers.
- Effectively energizing individuals and teams to achieve outcomes in a timely and professional manner.
- Leading staff of varying levels of ability and commitment to reach operational goals and adapt to ongoing change and growth opportunities.
- Demonstrate proactive and positive attitude towards change, identifying and implementing effective strategies to support staff through transitions. Exhibit exceptional adaptability and resilience in navigating environments characterized by frequent change and ambiguity, maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness.
- Communicate information and ideas in a manner that others will understand and that reflect the role of this position as a leader.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates with a strong mix of the attributes listed in the above Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) in the fields of personnel, business administration, counseling, education, workforce services, human services or other related fields are desired. Candidates may demonstrate competency in the KSAs through at least six years' directly related experience, formal education (including certificates, credentials, or degree-based programs), or a combination of both. Candidates should clearly describe how their experience and education meet the identified KSA's and provide examples in their cover letter that demonstrate their qualifications.
