About the Role
Title: Intake Coordinator
Location: MN-Saint Cloud

The Financial & Housing Counseling Intake Coordinator is responsible for intake interviews of potential counseling clients, explaining the numerous program offerings and fees to potential clients, initial scheduling with appropriate financial counselor, entering data, explaining payment options to client and maintaining client records in client management system as well as various spreadsheets. Also responsible for various tasks relative to the program operations including compiling reports for the program, state and federal regulators and grant funders. This position will also open and close physical and electronic client files.
Part time - 25 hours/week (flexible hours)

Minimum requirements:
Education: Two (2) years post-secondary education degree in a human service or legal field.
Job Related Experience: Two (2) years experience in a customer service, health care, financial, or legal fields working with individuals in stressful situations. Social Service experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Intake & Scheduling :
1. Explains services to potential clients, fees, and client responsibilities.
2. Interviews clients to obtain information and complete Intake Form.
3. Obtains financial and demographic information for a complete file.
4. Sends information letter and packet to client.
5. Determines appropriate counselor based on scheduling protocol and availability; cancels appointments; reschedules appointments.
6. Enters client data in computer database, clients management systems
B. File Maintenance/Data Reporting/Client Surveys
1. Opens and closes client files.
2. Records impacts and outcomes documented by the counselors in client management systems and spreadsheets.
3. Pulls data for reporting; creates and sends out client satisfaction and outcome surveys.
C. Outreach & Marketing Activities
1. Attends outreach & marketing events lead by FHC as directed by supervisor.
2. Develops and gathers marketing materials for distribution at events.
