Laundryheap is an on-demand laundry and linen service that makes life easier for customers by delivering clean clothes within 24 hours. Operating in 12 countries globally, we’re dedicated to providing reliable, high-quality service to individuals and businesses.

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Product, you’ll take ownership of Laundryheap’s design direction and processes. We’re looking for a Head of Product Design to lead our product design function and shape our brand strategy. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll design for a mobile-first audience, ensure our products meet user needs, and collaborate closely with a user researcher to understand what our customers value most.

Key responsibilities:

• Shape the design strategy, including the visual identity and brand.
• Lead and mentor the product design team, ensuring strong design standards and encouraging collaboration.
• Collaborate with a dedicated user researcher to uncover user needs and test designs.
• Create user-friendly mobile and web interfaces that solve real problems and provide a seamless experience.
• Develop prototypes and high-quality designs using Figma.
• Maintain and evolve a design system to ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Use user feedback and data to continuously improve design solutions.
• Work with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to balance user needs with technical and business goals.

We’d like to hear from you if you have:

• Experience in a senior product design role, ideally with leadership responsibilities.
• A portfolio showcasing mobile-first designs and web applications.
• Expertise in Figma, with a strong understanding of prototyping and design systems.
• Experience working with user researchers or conducting user research yourself.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain your design decisions clearly.
• A practical mindset for delivering good design within constraints.

Note: This is a Hybrid/WFH role.
