Job Description:

We’re looking for a passionate and highly motivated Group Product Manager, Payments to join our Payments team. In this role, you’ll have the autonomy to spearhead the growth and enhancement of Phreesia’s payments product line, including payment processing connections, payment collection tools for healthcare staff, and patient-facing payment products.  

You’ll gain exposure and lead the full product lifecycle, including prioritization, roadmap development, product development, escalation management, and go-to-market execution to ensure the delivery and commercial success of your product line. Phreesia's suite of payments products caters to a wide range of clients, from ambulatory care clinics to large health systems and hospitals, providing you with numerous challenges and opportunities.

This is a fully remote position with priority given to candidates in the EST/CST time zones.    

  What You'll Do:

  • Own the vision, strategy, and outcomes for a product line within the portfolio.  

  • Lead a product team to ensure the overall success of a product line.    

  • Be a product champion within our company and for our clients by understanding the market needs, players, trends, and opportunities in the healthcare payments space. 

  • Work with your product team to develop detailed product requirements and translate into user stories for implementation by engineering.   

  • Help lead a group of product managers focusing on various areas of the payments product suite.  

  • Engage with partners, prospects, and customers to drive product vision.  

  • Drive product go-to-market strategies and execute on successful launch plans with the support of marketing and client solutions colleagues.      

  • Build business cases for new products and feature enhancements by collaborating with engineering, marketing, sales, and operations groups.      

  • Work with your product team to manage escalations, investigate issues and prioritize fixes while tracking product and business metrics to drive outcomes.   

   What You’ll Bring  

  • 10+ years of product management experience, preferably in a high-growth B2B SaaS healthcare environment using an Agile development methodology.       

  • Experience in developing and launching successful applications, preferably payment processing or similar applications.   

  • Experience in the payments industry, or with a payment solution, including online/ecommerce, card present/POS, and recurring/card on file payments. 

  • Experience with creating and integrating to payment APIs/SDKs, including hosted payment options, NFC/EMV, and P2PE is a plus. 

  • Ability to set a product vision and strategy and to translate it into a concrete product roadmap.      

  • Experience writing requirements and driving user stories through development sprints   

  • Experience leading product initiatives across multiple product teams   

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written and verbal communication skills    

  • Preferred experience in people management
