Position Details:
Duration: This is a 6 month contract position
Hours: 40 hours/wk, 9 am start time onsite mon-thurs, work from home Fridays
Who we are looking for:
Bravado is currently looking for an enthusiastic Graphic Designer for our cutting-edge Creative Team. This candidate will be a self-starter, team player, and an exceptional communicator. The Graphic Designer will participate in product designs, graphic designs, inspiration, ideation, collection merchandising, and company presentation materials.
What to Expect as a Graphic Designer:
In a fast-paced and growing environment like ours, priorities and projects often change so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Conceives original designs across Bravado's roster in a variety of artistic styles. Ex. graphic, illustrative, photographic, vintage-inspired, contemporary, streetwear, and typography based
- Art directs product lines across Retail, Tour, eCommerce, and VIP for artists of all genres, including mood boards and deck curation
- Designs original graphics for Retail, Tour, eCommerce, and VIP for artists of all genres
- Develops products using original art, client supplied designs, and freelancer submissions on apparel with key trends, brand research, and fan demographics in mind
- Designs logos and branding motifs for artists and for broader company activations
- Curates customized presentations
- Mocks up accessories and apparel designs with unique dye treatments, fabrication knowledge, and print techniques
- Supports in the design process through research, inspiration, and creative briefs
- Designs and updates company capabilities decks
- Designs, updates, and merchandises retail presentations
- Generates templates for new products
- Curates branding for various artists, including neck labels, woven tags, hang tags, and packaging
- Works with the product development team to ensure best practices for product design
- Supports Creative Director team in creative problem solving and ideation
- Stays up to date on fashion and graphic trends
- Manages own daily and weekly tasks to ensure deadlines are met accordingly
Qualifications for Success:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Design, Illustration or Communication Arts
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite
- Fan of and strong knowledge of music, trends, fashion, and design
- Strong understanding of screenprinting
- Ability to collaborate with key internal team members on the creative team, as well as production and brand management teams
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently
- Exceptional written, listening, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
