Job Description:
About the Job
Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking a GTM Onboarding & Sales Coach to design and lead onboarding and enablement programs for our Go-To-Market (GTM) organization in a hybrid position, in Englewood, CO. This high-impact individual contributor role focuses on dramatically reducing ramp time by bridging the gap between a new hire’s first day and a closed sales opportunity. This central function manages the entire learning lifecycle for an employee’s first year on the job, from onboarding courseware to real-time sales coaching. You will design and deploy robust education programs in partnership with third-party vendors, deliver structured training on sales processes and essential skills (such as lead nurturing, persuasion, and negotiation), and coach teams on how to effectively use tools in the GTM tech stack.
Key responsibilities include building out and leading onboarding initiatives for new recruits across GTM teams, and launching comprehensive, role-based playbooks for those groups. You will partner closely with Enablement and leadership to identify continuous learning opportunities and create targeted programs to close skill gaps. You will also create dynamic enablement packages that incorporate multiple learning modes—live training, eLearning, reference documentation, and reinforcement guides—using available tools like Seismic. Furthermore, this position offers additional coaching and feedback as needed for team members across all stages of the customer journey, in strong partnership with managers. You will also serve as the primary expert in instructing colleagues on subjects like new device setup and 30-60-90 checklists, charting comprehensive learning paths for roles like Aviation Sales Directors. The position also provides crucial support coordinating the execution logistics for all major on-site training events, including our annual Sales Kickoff. We are looking for a builder passionate about empowering others to achieve immediate success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboard Content: Leverage sales and coaching expertise to design and deliver onboarding for GTM teams (Sales, Marketing, CS, Solution Consulting). Act as subject matter expert for GTM onboarding, including device setup, sales tools/processes, 30-60-90 plans, and specialized aviation role-based learning paths. Coordinate third-party sales methodology programs (e.g., MEDDPICC, SPIN, Challenger).
- Training Delivery & Coaching: Deliver engaging virtual and in-person training sessions and provides targeted 1:1 and group coaching focused on deal strategy, pipeline management, forecasting, negotiation, and persuasion.
- Enablement TechStack: Develop and deploy multi-modal enablement content including live training, eLearning, job aids, reference documentation, and reinforcement guides. Create dynamic enablement packages within Seismic to surface onboarding and training content directly in the flow of work.
- Event Execution: Coordinate and support execution logistics for major on-site training events, including workshops, leadership sessions, and the annual Sales Kickoff, serving as facilitator, emcee, or presenter as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Adult Learning Certificate (ATD/ASTD) in Education, Sales, Business, Coaching, Instructional Design, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in Sales
- Proven experience in training delivery, enablement program design, and content development
- Demonstrated expertise in modern sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, SPIN Selling, or Challenger Sale
- Strong communication, presentation, and coaching skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sales coaching certification from recognized institutions such as RAIN Group or Revenue Storm
- Exposure to instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies
- Strong ability to manage multiple programs, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously
- Experience with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise) and Vimeo
- Experience with eLearning tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and multimedia content creation
- Ability to translate complex technical and aviation-related concepts into clear, learner-friendly training materials
