Job Description

Lincoln Tech is seeking an on-campus Financial Aid Advisor for our Indianapolis, IN campus who will serve as the support liaison between corporate financial aid services and the campus. This very important role will assist students with their financial aid, organize the process, manage data, and complete student files. This is a great opportunity for a student-centered and detail-oriented individual, as this role plays a critical function in the overall success of our schools.

Responsibilities for a Financial Aid Advisor

• Assist students in completing their financial aid to start school
• Organize and manage all required data entry and file maintenance in the student information systems
• Maintain student electronic files
• Review and service New, Veteran, and Agency students in working with corporate financial aid departments
• Assist with document collection for Title IV clearance
• Attend all campus orientations, student start dates, and other required dates as requested
• Communicate with FA Managers/ Regional Directors of Financial Aid
• Assist with additional duties and responsibilities as requested/assigned.

Requirements for a Financial Aid Advisor

• Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• 1+ years of Financial Aid experience in higher education
