Job Description:

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Columbus, OH(Remote). This role involves building scalable backend services and responsive front-end interfaces, while ensuring robust testing and integration.

Rate Range: $41/hour to 45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code based on technical specifications and business requirements.

• Work closely with designers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Identify and fix bugs, optimize performance, and ensure code quality through peer reviews and testing.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with external systems and tools.

• Contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives while delivering features in iterative cycles.

• Use tools like Git for source control and maintain technical documentation for future reference and scalability.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

• 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack development using Java, Angular, and API technologies.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, RESTful APIs, SQL, Git, JUnit/Mockito, and Postman for backend development and testing.

• Working knowledge of Angular for front-end development, with exposure to tools like Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, and Apigee considered a plus.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $45.00 per hour
