About the Job

As a Data Visualization Specialist, you'll bring healthcare data to life through captivating visuals and narratives. Leveraging expertise in data analysis and visualization, you'll create informative and engaging experiences, propelling strategic storytelling across healthcare brands.

A Day in the Life

  • Collaborate on data-driven stories, enhancing brand team initiatives through novel insights.
  • Analyze and visualize data into engaging infographics, charts, and graphs.
  • Design innovative, story-driven visuals aligning with core principles (smart, simplified, story-driven).
  • Pioneer cutting-edge data storytelling techniques, sharing expertise.
  • Cross-functionally collaborate across IPG Health teams, driving strategic storytelling.
  • Partner with design and production teams for seamless client deliverable execution.

What You Will Need

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Math, Research or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data visualization, infographics and interactive visual storytelling.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Datawrapper, Flourish, Power BI, Tableau) and JavaScript (React, jQuery).
  • Proven skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop) and visualization libraries (D3, Angular).
  • Data analysis experience with Python, R or Node, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design, web standards and browser compatibility.
  • Ability to translate complex data into engaging, easy-to-digest visualizations.

Salary

$70,000.00 - $95,000.00
