Job Description:
As an Consultant specializing in Data Quality and Ataccama, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust architecture solutions that ensure data integrity and support business objectives. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on driving innovation and excellence in data quality initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the design and implementation of data quality solutions to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of architecture frameworks using Java and Python.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the development team in implementing best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data quality strategies with business objectives.
- Analyze and optimize existing systems to enhance performance and scalability.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for architecture designs and processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all architectural solutions.
- Drive innovation by researching and integrating new technologies into existing systems.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to upskill team members on data quality tools.
- Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve data quality management.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Support the deployment of Ataccama solutions to streamline data governance processes.
Work model:

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Charlotte, NC. What you need to have to be considered:
- Strong understanding of data quality principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
- Experience with DQG Architect and Ataccama tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proactive and innovative approach to technology solutions.
These will help you stand out:
- Certifications: Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Java SE 11 Developer Certification.
- Experience facilitating workshops and training sessions.
- Passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- Experience evaluating and implementing data quality tools.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
