Schedule: 9-5, Monday - Friday
Travel: ≥ 10%
Salary Range: $78,000 - $98,000
*New hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.
Position Overview:
The Creative Manager is responsible for leading and managing the creative direction and execution of Vibrant Emotional Health's brand identity and marketing initiatives. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop engaging and impactful creative campaigns that resonate with the target audience. They will be working on all of Vibrant’s programs including but not limited to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, the Disaster Distress Helpline and the NFL Life Line.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Help develop and implement creative strategies that align with Vibrant Emotional Health's mission and goals, ensuring consistent brand messaging across various channels and platforms

Oversee the development and maintenance of the brand identity, ensuring brand consistency and integrity in all communications and collateral materials

Lead and participate in brainstorming sessions, using strategic thinking to develop innovative and actionable work, collaborating with internal stakeholders, including 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, Disaster Distress Helpline, NFL Life Line and Pausing for the Cause

Manage the creative process from ideation to execution, including graphic design, copywriting, and content creation for various mediums such as digital platforms, print materials, social media, and animation

Manage and mentor a team of designers and other creative professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment

Prioritize work and resources across unique projects, based on short and long-term needs, and develop schedules by collaborating with your team

Required Skills/Abilities:

Possess a strong creative flair and the ability to think outside the box. Demonstrate expertise in graphic design, copywriting, content creation, and other creative disciplines. Showcase a portfolio that highlights innovative and impactful work.

Exhibit strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of designers, writers, and other creative professionals. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity, growth, and innovation

Display a strategic mindset and the ability to align creative initiatives with the organization's mission and goals. Have a deep understanding of the target audience and develop creative strategies that resonate with them

Be proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other industry-standard tools. Have familiarity with content management systems, digital marketing platforms, and emerging creative technologies
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Proven experience in creative direction, brand management, and campaign development, preferably in the nonprofit sector or related fields

Strong creative portfolio showcasing a range of design and content creation skills across different mediums
Required Skills/Abilities:

Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) and familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing platforms

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate creative professionals

Strong project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage resources effectively

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and engage stakeholders at all levels

A passion for mental health, emotional wellness, and creating positive social impact
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

Will constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer

Will frequently communicate over video calls with internal and external stakeholders
