Job Description:
Envista Holdings Corporation is a global leader in dental products and technologies, headquartered in Brea, California. With over 30 trusted brands—including Nobel Biocare, Ormco, Dexis, and Kerr—Envista serves dental professionals in more than 150 countries. The company operates across two key segments: Specialty Products & Technologies and Equipment & Consumables, offering solutions from dental implants and orthodontics to imaging systems and infection prevention. In 2024, Envista reported $2.57 billion in annual revenue and employs approximately 12,500 people worldwide. Publicly traded on the NYSE under the ticker NVST, Envista is driven by a mission to partner with professionals to improve lives through innovative dental solutions.
At Envista, our people are our most important resource. We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our Talent Acquisition team and connect exceptional talent with key opportunities across our organization. Why this role exists: to drive full cycle recruiting while also leading strategic sourcing efforts for the North America region. As a Corporate Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle – from partnering with hiring managers on initial strategy to closing offers – and simultaneously dive deep into sourcing strategies to uncover “hidden” talent for Envista and its operating companies. This includes building strong relationships with hiring managers, sourcing passive candidates, developing talent pipelines, screening and interviewing applicants, evaluating skills, and advising business leaders in hiring decisions.
In addition to core recruiting duties, you will proactively improve recruiting processes and tools and leveraging data insights to inform strategies. By marrying full-cycle recruiting with advanced sourcing and continuous improvement, this role ensures Envista’s talent needs are met with efficiency, quality, and creativity. Ultimately, the Corporate Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Advisor helps drive business success by hiring great people and constantly enhancing how we attract and hire top talent.
In this hybrid Recruiting and Sourcing role, you will own a broad range of responsibilities across the North America region, including:
- Partner with hiring managers (across departments, functions, and operating companies in USA/Canada) to understand workforce plans, define role requirements, and co-develop effective recruitment & sourcing strategies for each opening. Serve as a trusted talent advisor to stakeholders, setting clear hiring plans and expectations from the outset
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions (primarily professional and managerial roles) across the U.S. and Canada – from initial intake and job posting through sourcing, interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation/closure. Ensure each search is conducted with a sense of urgency and attention to detail, meeting agreed timelines and quality benchmarks
- Proactively source candidates using a variety of channels: LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean search strings, social media, professional networks, referrals, and talent communities. Leverage advanced sourcing tools and techniques to identify and engage passive candidates beyond traditional applicants, targeting high-caliber talent that aligns with Envista’s needs
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, especially for frequently hired or hard-to-fill roles. Continuously cultivate relationships with potential candidates (including passive talent) to ensure a steady flow of qualified prospects for key positions. This includes keeping candidates warm for upcoming opportunities and developing referral networks in critical job families
- Screen candidates and conduct initial interviews (phone or video) to evaluate qualifications and experience for both the specific role and Envista’s values. Provide a compelling overview of the opportunity and Envista’s business to pique candidate interest, while also assessing fundamentals like technical skills and salary expectations
- Coordinate and facilitate the interview process, partnering with hiring teams and HR. This includes preparing interviewers with relevant materials, collecting feedback, and ensuring all parties remain informed and engaged. Take ownership of delivering a positive candidate experience throughout, via timely communication, professionalism, and personal touch points
- Negotiate offers and close candidates. Work closely with hiring managers and HR on extending offers that align with market benchmarks and internal equity. Discuss components like salary, benefits, bonus, and start date with finalists, addressing any concerns and ensuring a smooth offer acceptance. Where needed, skillfully negotiate to reach win-win outcomes that secure top-choice candidates within approved guidelines
- Provide market intelligence and talent insights to hiring managers as a value-added service. Advise on talent availability, competitor hiring trends, salary ranges, and other relevant market data to help managers make informed decisions and adjust expectations when necessary
- Champion an excellent candidate experience at every stage. Act as an Envista brand ambassador, treating all candidates with respect and enthusiasm. Provide timely updates and feedback to candidates, regardless of outcome, and ensure that even those not selected have a positive impression of Envista. Manage the rejection and offer processes professionally, reinforcing the company’s employer brand
- Contribute to Talent Acquisition projects and process improvements. Take initiative in identifying opportunities to enhance recruiting effectiveness
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree)
- 5–7 years of professional recruiting experience (in-house corporate recruiting and/or agency staffing), with a proven track record of full-cycle recruitment and talent sourcing across a range of role types and levels. Prior experience managing requisitions end-to-end (from intake to offer) is required, and experience recruiting in a fast-paced or high-growth environment is highly beneficial
- Expert-level sourcing skills are essential – including mastery of LinkedIn Recruiter – to identify and engage top talent beyond active applicants. Hands-on experience creatively finding candidates through methods like direct sourcing, networking groups, talent communities, and referrals is expected. You should be comfortable hunting for niche skill sets and converting passive prospects into candidates
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems to manage candidates and requisitions
- Strong capability in candidate assessment – including conducting structured interviews, evaluating technical and behavioral competencies, and facilitating effective debrief discussions. Familiarity with various interview techniques (behavioral interviewing, competency-based questions, etc.) and assessment tools (e.g., work samples, psychometric tests) is a plus. Able to train or guide hiring managers on best-practice interviewing when needed
- Good knowledge of relevant employment laws and hiring regulations in North America (e.g., U.S. EEOC guidelines, ADA, FLSA, and applicable state laws, as well as Canadian employment standards). Ensures all recruitment activities are conducted in compliance with legal requirements and Envista’s policies
- A team player who works well in a collaborative environment. Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders – balancing the needs of hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and candidates
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being aware of when to seek input or escalate issues. Resilient and resourceful, with a problem-solving mindset – you persist in finding solutions to staffing challenges and rebound quickly from setbacks. A high degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion is required in handling confidential candidate information and sensitive hiring discussions
- Professional certifications in Talent Acquisition (such as AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Professional–Recruiter, or PHR/SPHR) are a plus but not required
- NOT a remote role, hybrid (3 days in office in Brea, CA and 2 days WFH)
Target Market Salary Range:
Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
