The Faculty Training and Development Coordinator is responsible for the oversight, integrity and timely response to enrollment/data entry to the Learning Management System (LMS). This role also processes all educator enrollment requests, ensures that all continuing education requirements have been met, and acts as the first line of contact for the Faculty Services Support account. The coordinator also supports internal and external stakeholders by maintaining and running various data reports from the LMS and Smartsheet. This is a service-minded position that plays an integral role which allows the department to provide a level of service to our clients (i.e., full-time and adjunct educators, leadership at academic partners, and Orbis academic staff) that is unparalleled. All specific job-related training will be provided and supported.
The Faculty Training and Development Team is comprised of a nurse Educator, FT&D Specialist, and external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to provide a professional development curriculum that is based on best practices for online and hybrid teaching and learning strategies with a focus on healthcare, professional development standards, and evidence-based research for our academic and healthcare partners and Orbis Education.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm ET

Curriculum Website & Learning Management System
- Create, maintain, and close out all curriculum seminars per our Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Process and monitor all educator asynchronous curriculum enrollment requests and continuing education requirements per our SOP and ANCC policies
- Routinely monitor, track, and run various LMS data reports and send to stakeholders to comply with licensure and accrediting bodies
- Routinely deactivate educator accounts in the LMS who have been inactive for more than 1 year to free up licenses
Smartsheet
- Create, maintain, and close out all curriculum evaluations per our SOP
- Monitor qualitative educator feedback from evaluations for continuous content improvement opportunities
- Set up and monitor Joint Provider and in-person training evaluations and QR codes for FT&D Nurse Educator
- Assist with ongoing maintenance and support of department internal dashboards and reports
Annual Engagement in Healthcare Education (EHE) Conference
- Helps with yearly website preparation and functionality (i.e,, updating conference theme, content, testing) with the FT&D Specialist
- Supports ongoing back-end administrative duties as they relate to Orbis’s annual partner conference
- Interfaces with and supports academic and healthcare partners and Orbis leadership on-site during annual EHE Conference
What you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with MS Excel/Smartsheet, cloud-based systems and overall Microsoft Suite skills (i.e., Outlook, Word) experience
- Ability and willingness to travel 2-3 times a year for team events/meetings.
- This person must like transactional work, be motivated by to-dos and have a strong eye for quality, data integrity and customer service
