Job Description:
We are seeking a Contract Manager, CMC Project Management to support Commercial and Early-Stage program initiatives within the Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) domain. This role involves managing and updating project plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and utilizing Smartsheet and MS Office tools to drive execution and ensure alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, highly organized, and experienced in both early and late-stage development environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project timelines and deliverables for ongoing Commercial CMC activities related to Life Cycle Management.
- Collaborate with CMC leads and cross-functional partners (Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Process Sciences, Supply Chain, and Quality) to establish and update project plans.
- Integrate risk mitigation strategies into planning processes for the Technical Operations and Quality Organization.
- Support Early-Stage development programs by maintaining and adapting CMC templates in Smartsheet.
- Partner with other CMC Project Managers to drive improvements in resource allocation and project execution strategies.
- Present project updates and improvement initiatives to the CMC PM team.
- Follow up with stakeholders to gather missing data and drive timely updates to project documentation.

- Familiarity with early and/or late-stage CMC development
- Experience with evolving process documentation and templates
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (preferred in Life Sciences or Engineering).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management or CMC development within the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience supporting early-stage (Ph I/II) and late-stage/commercial CMC development preferred.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet and MS Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional, collaborative environments.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid schedule and adapting to evolving systems and processes.
