As part of our Campaigns & Direct Partner Team, you’ll be one of our trusted guardians of content treasure; digging up, curating, and showcasing amazing deals from across the travel industry. You’ll make sure every deal shines, meets our high pirate standards, and tempts our users to set sail on their next adventure.

You won’t be sailing solo, you’ll work closely with your fellow content pirates and our sales crew to come up with clever, creative solutions that bring maximum value to our partners and pure wanderlust to our users.

Note: We warmly welcome all candidates who are native English speakers and based in Berlin!

DUTIES ON DECK

  • Use your creative flair and analytical skills to produce entertaining and informative content tailored to our UK audience at Holidaypirates.com
  • Identify and evaluate the best travel deals from our travel industry and tourism board partners
  • Research and write insightful articles that help our users explore the world on a budget
  • Analyse travel industry trends and user behaviour to ensure our content is always fresh and relevant
  • Collaborate with partners across the travel industry to manage content campaigns
  • Monitor performance, testing and optimising partner deals and campaigns for improved outcomes
  • Work in close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams (key account management, digital marketing, etc.), to maximize deal reach
  • Share partner content on social platforms in compelling ways that spark engagement, build buzz, and go viral
  • Potential required attendance at travel industry events e.g. World Travel Market
  • Work with tourism boards to understand their brand pillars and showcase their destination to our users

Salary Range:

Germany: €37,000–€45,000 per year

UK: £31,800–£35,000 per year

YOUR TREASURE OF EXPERIENCE

  • You must be registered in the UK for tax purposes
  • Excellent written English language skills (native level)
  • Minimum of 2+ year work experience in content marketing
  • A sharp and sassy writing tone - we’re pirates; not the Financial Times
  • You’re passionate about travelling – and know all the tricks to save money while doing so
  • You have experience in market analysis and can identify travel trends in the UK market
  • You thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment, and you don’t wait to be given tasks, but are adaptable and self-driven

EXTRA KNOTS FOR

  • Additional language skills apart from English
  • Experience with creative design tools, such as Canva
  • Social media knowledge
  • Account management experience e.g. holding meetings with external stakeholders
  • Experience at working in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
