Job Description: Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This a temporary or on-call position. Provides a wide variety of consulting services including conference, seminar or workshop design/presentation; operations review and analysis; project design, completion, coordination or management; or related consulting services. Consultants paid on grant funds must be paid on an hourly or daily basis, with a minimum wage of $12.00 per hour. Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.

Unit Position Summary

Family and Community Medicine is seeking qualified, certified* trainers to provide instruction using the IMPART Alliance Direct Care Worker virtual and/or in-person curricula. Training will take place live via Zoom and/or in-person in classrooms and/or designated lab sites. Qualified applicants must maintain IMPART's course fidelity and should be available to teach classes during non-traditional business hours. IMPART classes are offered on nights and weekends, in addition to weekdays.

Required: two plus years of experience working in home and community-based care settings, training experience within the past two years, a demonstrated commitment to and respect for person-centered supports and services and advancing the DCW workforce, along with demonstrated knowledge of DCW competencies and teaching skills. Pay rate $25/hour with a cap at two hours per training. *Note: all applicants must already be certified as an IMPART DCW trainer in order to be considered for this position.

Summary of Physical Demands

This role includes performance of instruction in simulated healthcare labs and requires the use and positioning of equipment such as hospital beds, wheelchairs, and mannikins for demonstration of procedures and to facilitate student experiences.
